How does Attimi work?
You declare that for a window of time you're available to chat, and you become visible to other people who have done the same: the ones near you first, then the ones farther away. When the time runs out — or whenever you decide to stop — you drop out of search automatically. You're not keeping a conversation alive for days: you start from the fact that you're free right now, in a new city, at university, at a concert or out on your own for the evening.
How much does Attimi cost?
Downloading Attimi and making yourself available costs nothing. At launch the first 100 chats are on us, for everyone. When opening a conversation starts costing something, the app will show you the exact amount in your own currency before asking you for anything: no surprise charges.
What happens when the 100 free chats run out?
It's your call whether to continue. Nothing is charged to you without your having seen it and confirmed it.
Can other people see exactly where I am?
No. Your location is only read when you turn on your availability, and other people see it blurred by about 300 meters, as an approximate distance.
Who can see me when I'm available?
Other people who are available at the same time as you, when each of you is among the people the other chose to see: the ones near you first, then people farther away. About where you are they only ever see an approximate distance. When you're not available you don't appear in anyone's list; only people you already have a chat or a request with still see that chat or request, with your profile.
What happens to the messages?
A chat starts with a request: the other person sees who you are and accepts, or declines. Anyone who isn't interested simply declines, or blocks. You can choose not to keep the messages.
How do I delete my account and data?
Simply from the app, or from the "Delete account" page on the website, even if you no longer have the app installed.
