Terms of use and community rules
Attimi is for people aged 18 and over who want to talk to someone nearby who is free at the same moment. You accept these terms when you sign up, and using Attimi means accepting them. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Accounts that post it are removed.
Attimi puts you in touch with people nearby who are available to talk. It does not organise, arrange or guarantee any meeting in person: whether, when and where to meet someone is entirely your decision and your responsibility. If you do decide to meet, choose a public place, tell someone you trust where you are going, and keep your own way home.
What is not allowed
- sexually explicit content, nudity, and unsolicited sexual messages or images;
- offering, requesting or advertising paid sexual services, escorting or prostitution;
- harassment, threats, stalking, hate speech, and insults aimed at a person or a group;
- violent or degrading content, and anything that incites self-harm;
- impersonating someone else, fake profiles, and photographs that are not of you;
- publishing another person's private data, conversations or pictures without their consent;
- spam, advertising, scams and links to external paid services;
- selling or promoting drugs, weapons or other illegal goods;
- use of Attimi by anyone under 18, and everything covered by the child safety standards below.
How these rules are enforced
- Checked before it is stored: every chat message and every profile description goes through an automatic check on the device before it is sent. Text soliciting or offering paid sexual services is refused, is never saved on our servers, and files an automatic report.
- Report: every conversation has a "Report" button, with five reasons — prostitution, a person who appears to be under 18, harassment, a fake profile, and "Other". Reports go to a moderation queue that a person reads.
- Block: in the chat list, press and hold a conversation and choose Block. It takes effect at once: the conversation is deleted for both of you, that person can no longer message you and no longer sees you in searches. You can undo it from Profile › "Blocked users".
- Automatic suspension: once five different people have reported the same account, it is suspended automatically, pending review, without waiting for anyone to intervene.
- Removal within 24 hours: reports are read personally by Mirco Orecchini. Content that breaks these rules is removed and the account is ejected within 24 hours of the report.
- If you believe a decision was wrong: write to abuse@attimi.app. We explain what was removed, why, and on what basis, as described under "Reporting other illegal content" below.
Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) standards
Attimi is a service reserved for people aged 18 and over. We apply a zero-tolerance policy towards child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
What is strictly prohibited
- child sexual abuse material (CSAM), in any form, including drawn, generated or altered;
- any content that sexualises a minor;
- grooming of minors, sextortion, trafficking and exploitation;
- use of the service by minors, even with an adult's consent;
- promoting, soliciting or facilitating any of these behaviours.
How we enforce them
- Minors are not allowed: registration requires an explicit confirmation of being at least 18 and acceptance of the Privacy Policy. On the Play Store the app is distributed with a restriction to adult users only.
- In-app reporting: every conversation has a "Report" button, and from the chat list you can block the person — blocking takes effect at once and deletes the conversation for both of you. If you do not have an open conversation with the person you want to report, write to childsafety@attimi.app (minors) or to abuse@attimi.app (everything else): it is the same channel, read by the same person.
- Action: reports involving minors have absolute priority. When several independent reports are received, the account is automatically suspended pending review.
- Removal and ban: content violating these standards is removed and the account is permanently banned.
- Reporting to the authorities: suspected CSAE cases are reported without delay to the competent authorities — in Italy the Polizia Postale and the National Centre for Combating Online Child Pornography (CNCPO) — as required by Article 18 of the DSA.
How to report
If you suspect that an account or a piece of content on Attimi involves a minor, report it immediately: from the app using the "Report" button, or by writing to childsafety@attimi.app. Every report receives an acknowledgement of receipt.
If a child is in immediate danger, call 112 (the European emergency number) before reporting to us.
Reporting other illegal content
For illegal content other than CSAE — harassment, threats, scams, sexually explicit content, prostitution, copyright infringement, impersonation — use the "Report" button in the app or write to abuse@attimi.app.
To allow us to act, please include:
- the user's nickname or the identifier of the content;
- an explanation of why you believe it is illegal;
- your email address, for the acknowledgement of receipt and the outcome.
You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt and, once we have decided, we will inform you of the outcome. If we remove content or suspend an account, we explain to the person concerned what was removed, why and on what basis, and how to contest the decision (Article 17 DSA).
Note on the Digital Services Act
Attimi is run by a natural person operating as a micro-enterprise within the meaning of Recommendation 2003/361/EC. As such it is exempt from the obligations under Article 15(2) and Article 19(1) of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (annual transparency report and Section 3), without prejudice to all other obligations, which we apply as described on this page.
