Your safety
Before you start chatting, a few things we want everyone on Attimi to know.
ATTIMI DOES NOT AND CANNOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND SCREENINGS ON ITS MEMBERS.
Safety when you meet people online
- Anyone who is able to commit identity theft can also falsify a profile, and anyone can put false information in a profile.
- There is no substitute for acting with caution when communicating with any stranger who wants to meet you. Getting to know someone online can be risky.
- Never include your last name, email address, home address, phone number, place of work, social security number, details of your daily routine or any other identifying information in your profile or first messages.
- Stop communicating with anyone who pressures you for personal or financial information or tries in any way to trick you into revealing it.
- If you choose to meet another member face to face, always tell someone in your family or a friend where you are going and when you will return. Never agree to be picked up at your home. Always provide your own transportation and meet in a public place with many people around.
Protecting yourself from sexual assault and violence
- Sexual conduct without the other person's consent is a crime and can be prosecuted.
- If you are the victim or survivor of sexual or intimate partner violence by someone you met on Attimi, you are not to blame. Report it to us and to the police, and reach out to the helplines below for support.
- Reporting a crime can help stop the person who committed it from hurting others, and it may be what we need to act against them.
Protecting yourself from financial crimes
- Never send money to anyone you meet on Attimi, especially by wire transfer, even if they say it's an emergency.
- Block and report anyone whose behavior is suspicious, offensive, harassing, threatening or fraudulent, or who asks you for money or tries to sell you something.
Money scams often look like this: someone builds trust very fast, says they can't meet or video call, then has an emergency and asks for money, gift cards or cryptocurrency. If someone asks you for money, it's a scam.
What do you do about harassment?
Zero tolerance. A person reads every report, and within 24 hours of the report content that breaks the rules is removed and the account is banned. You can also block the person at once from the chat list: they can no longer write to you or see you. The full rules are in the Terms of Use.

Someone posted intimate images of me without my consent: what can I do?
Report it right away with “Report” on that person's profile or chat, or write to abuse@attimi.app. In your request, tell us where the image is (a link or the profile's nickname), that it was posted without your consent, your name as a signature, and how we can reach you. Someone acting on your behalf can also write to us. We remove intimate images posted without consent, and any copies we find, within 48 hours of the request, and we ban the account.
How to report and where to get help
To report someone, tap “Report” in the chat or on their profile, or write to abuse@attimi.app. A person reads every report. If a member commits a crime against you, report it to the police too.
In an emergency, call your local emergency number (112 in Europe, 911 in the United States and Puerto Rico, 190 in Brazil, 123 in Colombia).
